Spice Rubbed Spare Ribs

Ingredients:
1.5kg Beef Spare Ribs (can be short ribs)
1 large brown onion
800g Diced tin tomato
Sea salt (to taste)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon oregano
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
Method:
- Add all ingredients to your slow cooker with a cup of water & cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8.
- Place ribs in baking tray and add additional sprinkling of onion powder, baste with juices and bake for 10 mins
- In the mean time blend all of the remaining juices in the pot until it's mostly smooth (we use a stick blender). Place the mixture into a skillet and simmer to reduce and thicken.
- Add a generous amount over the ribs and bake for another 10 minutes or until sticky and caramelised.
